At the door (1 hour before showtime)

Prepare to be shocked, amazed and delighted when Victoria’s global roots extravaganza group, The Bills, hits the stage. Western Canadian Music Award winners for Outstanding Roots Recording and Entertainer of the Year and two-time Juno Award nominees, The Bills have spent over a decade forging a style that transcends musical boundaries. The band draws inspiration from a broad range of traditions, and with three main writers in the group, their glorious repertoire of songs is firmly rooted on the Canadian Pacific Coast. Known for their world-class instrumental virtuosity, lush vocal arrangements and exuberant live performances, The Bills provide an audience with a uniquely powerful musical experience.

Joining them is Vancouver’s own folk star, T. Nile, a Canadian Folk Music Award winner whose music has been called haunting, rootsy and upbeat with sweet, tangy, carefree vocals – “T. Nile could well be the biggest roots noise out of these very rootsy parts” (John P. McLaughlin).

The Bills on stage with T. Nile promises to be an evening of fun and great musicianship.
