Often described as one of Canada’s best up-and-coming acts, Hey Ocean! is a young band with an extraordinary talent for combining diverse musical styles to create a brand of infectious pop that is all their own. Superb vocals, remarkable musicianship, and thoughtful lyrics are all showcased by the group’s collective songwriting approach. The band has developed a sound that cannot be ignored – on radio, television or your neighbour’s iPod, Hey Ocean! will soon be everywhere.

Said the Whale is as much a product of Vancouver’s tremendous natural beauty as it is of the city’s budding independent music scene. Their unique blend of eclectic indie rock captures the essence of what it means to be young, free, and occasionally heartbroken in your early 20s.
