If you’ve got a thing for beer and hockey, then you’ll find common ground with Vancouver punk rock band The Hanson Brothers. Heavily influenced by hockey and the music of the Ramones, the band’s name references characters in the cult ice hockey film Slap Shot. Musicians John Wright, Rob Wright, and Tom Holliston belong to another legendary punk group as well, NoMeansNo, also performing this year at BC Scene.
